Let’s create a custom Bible together. I will bring your vision to life by creating a curated painting on the cover of your Bible to speak directly to you.

What we offer:

You can order a NEW BIBLE through the artist (from a standard Bible, Journaling, or study Bible depending on your preference) or send in YOUR OWN BIBLE to get painted on!

The artist will work with you to design and create your Bible Illustration. Through mood boards, personal photos, and other methods, Olivia will create a digital proof of your illustration to be approved to meet your needs. Once approved, she will paint on your Bible!

Bible covers are prepped and painted with acrylic paint. Once dry, they are sealed with archival varnish to protect the paint for everyday use.

  • Standard Bible: A typical Bible you would pick up, with standard margins. Any translation available in hardcover or softcover.

    Journaling Bible: Typically has 2-inch margins and thicker pages suitable for writing. Perfect for writing notes, prayers, drawing, and more. Available in most translations- hardcover or softcover

    Study Bible: A Bible with explanatory notes printed along with the text of Scripture. Many Bibles have footnotes with cross-references or very brief notes that may clarify the definition of a word, but a study Bible has much more extensive notes and may also include maps, charts, illustrations, and photos. A study Bible is like a Bible and commentary all in one. Available in most translations- hardcover or softcover and some journaling options.

  • When Olivia creates illustrations for her non-commissioned Bibles, she is usually inspired by sections of scripture, hymns, or creation. You are welcome to recreate a previous illustration done for your own custom Bible.

    When describing your illustration criteria, include any colors, subjects, and/or scripture you prefer. Personal photos are welcome, but faces are not recommended.

    If you are not sure how to describe your vision for your illustration, create a collection of inspiration photos or a mood board! Pick a color palette and a few inspiration photos (photos picked may not be used in the final illustration).

  • For Hardcover Bibles: Add an underlay of a vintage hymnal from a 1940’s hymn book. (Inquire for any specific hymns) +$15

    Detailed full wrap design: A typical custom Bible has a full illustration on the front cover and a simple written scripture on the back. Request a full, detailed illustration wrapped around the Bible. +$20

A typical custom Bible is around $135-$150 (ordered new)

Bringing in your own Bible to get customized: $65-$95, depending on size

Our Process

Choose your Bible

Request your Bible; translation, cover preference, type of Bible, or send in your own Bible!

Once selected, the artist will order your Bible, or you can send your Bible in.

Design your illustration

Work with the artist to create your custom illustration to reflect your personal journey with Jesus.

The artist will then create a digital proof for you to tweak or approve!

Your Bible Gets Painted

Once the digital proof is approved, the artist will start painting your Bible!

Your Bible is finished!

Once your Bible is sealed with an archival varnish. Your Bible is sent home to you!

The typical turnaround is about 2-3 weeks, depending on shipping and customer cooperation.
